Jennifer + Jarrod {Luverne, Al Wedding Photography}

By Wes Roberts

She first met him during their first year in high school and the story began to build.  As their junior year began, Jarrod knew he had the whole year to ask her to the prom and with his whit and charm it would be no problem.  This was their beginning.  After seven years, their story was written page by page and chapter by chapter.  This past Saturday they began their newest chapter.  For them and this book of life they write, I'm sure it will be a blessing and an adventure.  Thank you Jennifer and Jarrod for allowing me to be part of your day!

Ashley+Brandt {Sneak Peek} Troy, AL Wedding Photography

By Wes Roberts

I life, one plus one equals two.  In math, we know that one plus one equals two.  In love, one plus one equals infinity.  Yet the relation of these two numbers have more power and meaning when it comes to magical wonders of love.  As they sat in class meeting each other for the first time an interest peeked.  Not by the numbers that all accountants gleam to but by one girl that he noticed, a girl he had hoped would be his "plus one".  As time progressed, they began to fill each others time with more meaning, more happiness, more love.

As she held her dad's arm walking down the aisle, you could see the joy and excitement that they had long waited for.  As Brandt stood at the alter, he saw more than just the girl in his class he had hoped to know.  Now he was seeing his bride, in all her wonder, his now "plus one".

Mary Harmon+Eric {Sneak Peek} Sylacauga Area Wedding

By Wes Roberts

As we followed the Rolls Royce down a small paved road which wound through a wooded hallway, it opened up to a view of the Five Star Plantation.  In my thoughts, I could hear the ringing that said "this is why they chose this location"!  It was totally the new Mr. and Mrs.  Britton's personality; laid back, country, outdoors feel and the arrival was greeted with such generosity.

We had the opportunity a couple of year ago to shoot at FUMC and I fell in love with the soft light that floats into the brides room.  So to complete Mary-Harmon's bridal radiance, I did a couple of portraits in that room and was still wowed.  With or without the lighting she was still amazing and it was a delight to see it in Eric's eyes as she met him at the alter.  We were so honored to share there day and know that they will be blessed in their years together!

Danna+Will {Sneak Peek}: Dothan, AL Wedding Photography

By Wes Roberts

As the end of each day this week has been filled with the roaring sound of the rain hitting the ground, it was no different for Danna and Will's wedding day.  While the old saying of "rain on your wedding day means good luck" is true or not, the one thing I know is that 100% humidity that comes with it will make you sweat ridiculously.  That old friendly sound that has shown so many farmers kindness to the ears, only watered the ground that Danna and Will's love was planted in.  The two are a pair that has been planted full of joy and fun, with a twist of quirkiness and spontaneity.  From the point that I meet these two over coffee at Starbucks, I knew I would love working with them; you just know!

Wes Roberts Photography {Two Bright Lights Editor's Choice}

I remember when I first started photography.  I was a no nothing college student taking a couple of classes for fun, which was anything but!  I can remember having prints critiqued and rejected by my instructor, at times, a heart breaking hit that would warp the idea of what I thought was a good [...]
