This past Saturday we headed over to Lake Martin for Meagan and Hunters wedding which was such a great day, hot, but still a wonderful day to get married. I want to say thank you so much to the family, and all the bridal party. You were simply amazing and made my time so enjoyable; I know Meagan and Hunter are blessed to have you in their lives.
Do you know what happened in 1886? A pharmacist by the name of John Pemberton invented a concoction that would change the world and make two colors (red and white) and a name known through it. That concoction is known by the name of Coca Cola. Over the years Coca Cola has become a company known for its solidarity, pride, never giving up. I believe a company is a reflection of the people who build it, who pour so much of their character into it. One such man who did this for Coca Cola was Meagan's grandfather. A man who poured his character into not only the company he worked for but evidence that he did the same for his family all the way up to his passing. For Meagan, Hunter and family, a way to honor him was to tie in pieces of what he enjoyed. Through out the day there were reminders, from the flats that held the bouquets, the antique coolers, and even the first drink.
Another honor was the 1932 ford for Hunter's grandfather. This blew me away! To see a 1932 Ford restored and running great was amazing. Not to get to far into the details, other than he fixed it up and did it the way he wanted to. Much like life, not all the pieces are the way we want it or need it but we take them and make it work.

(Bowties make smart people sometimes). If you dip anything into the lake, it will smell like fish the next day, the eye piece to my camera did. Lake Martin has about a bajillion roads that run in and out of the coves and it is super easy to get turned around...multiple times. If you try to down a coke and have not eaten or drank anything in about 4 or 5 hours, well, let's just say its not the best thing in the world to do.
