Iowa, Illinois, Auburn.  What do they have in common?  Tara and Kurt!  Having met in high school, after graduation Tara and Kurt went to each school respectively.  Even fierce football rivalry could not keep them apart yet they finally ended up together in Auburn.  That's where I met this wonderful couple.  I received an email from Tara inquiring about an engagement session because her and Kurt had just become engaged.  Jump to the day of the session and I finally this duo and fell in love with them!  After hanging with them I was secretly hoping they would contact me again for the wedding because I just enjoyed my time with them.  

A couple of months later I receive another email from Tara letting me know that they had picked a date and location and wanted to know if I could cover their wedding; my answer was Absolutely!  This led to this past weekend in Amelia Island where Tara and Kurt were married among their close family and friends.  What I experienced, their friendliness and genuineness, was what had also drawn so many of their close friends to this weekend.  What a blast we had, all the way from the bonfire at the resort to chants of Iowa and Illinois!  Thank you Tara and Kurt for just being amazing and congratualations!

I'm always amazed at how couples come into our live.  Heather and Jeff were referred to me by another photographer and I'm so glad they were!  I have enjoyed to the fullest being able to get to know them and work with them.  You two were so awesome and I am so thankful that I was able share in the excitement of your wedding day!

I am excited to share a quick preview from Lauren and Chad's wedding from this past Saturday!  There is more to come from this couple and their great Spring wedding!
