Ashley and Chris (freebie session) [edit]
By Wes Roberts
I've kind of been holding on to these, just trying to catch my breath. These are a couple from the freebie session I did with Ashley and Chris. What made me excited about this is that, 1. I got to spend time with one of my couples that I'll be doing their wedding next year and 2. we did the shoot at the Peanut Festival. How much better can it get? Ashley had never been to a fair so I tried to prepare her for what she was about to experience, words can't really describe it; the fair is something you have to experience. The amazing thing is that they drove 2.5 hours for this shoot, and had to leave and drive another 2.5 hours back home because Chris was leaving the next day for Texas. Ashely and Chris, thanks for offering to do this, we had tons of fun with you guys and we can wait till April! Hope you enjoy and God Bless,
Yes I did get dizzy on this and felt like I was about to fall off.
How amazing is this little boy.
Jenn and Charlie [edit]

One of the best things about being a photographer is that you get to meet the most amazing people. We had the chance to meet Jennifer and Charlie at a "get together" one night. They are the sweetest and most genuine couple. We are so thankful that they chose us to shoot pictures for them. The one thing we loved about Jenn and Charlie was that they loved their dog, Sophie, very much! As most of you know, Wes and I have two yellow labs that we call our "children." We were glad to find another dog as spoiled as our two. Jenn and Charlie, thanks for a great Sunday afternoon of shooting! We hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
These Are Our Days (Season Finally) [edit]
By Wes Roberts
Last night was a tough night to swallow. As the dusk began to set in, the lights flickered on in preperation for a night of gridiron. More on the line and a step toward the prize, if we can make it past this round. If not, the season ends and we walk off the field and lights flicker off just as they came on. Well, last night, the lights faded away as the season came to an end. I'm glad I decided to do this project, and follow these kids as they played. For most of them, I've never met except through the camera, but they've allowed me to capture their movements, their youth and their passion. I have to give thanks to The Messenger for allowing me to hook up with them and for actual paying me to do this. With this said, I've got two post for the final installment of "These Are Our Days"; one from the last game of the regular season and one from the first round of the playoffs. Guys, Coaches, if you read this, Thanks! and God Bless.
