These Are Our Days

By Wes Roberts

I hope you enjoy this installment of the project.  You know, thinking ahead I can't help but see each week that starts all over; having to prove yourself.  Last week doesn't count for this week.  To prove yourself over and over, that you have what it takes to get the job done is something that says alot, especially at the age of 15-17.  As of this week CHHS is #3 in the state.  Feel free to leave comments and let us know what pics are your favorite.  Thanks and God bless,

Wes

The Trojan Women

By Wes Roberts

I had the opportunity to do a shoot for the local highschool drama class last week.  This was truly fun to shoot these talented and beautiful girls.  The play that they will be performing is called "The Trojan Women" which was written by Euripides in 416 BC.  If your in town on Oct. 9th, stop by the "Studio" and check it out; I'm positive you will be entertained.  Anyway, girls good luck and perform your best.

Thanks and God bless.

Wes

Dress Up and Imagine!

By Wes Roberts

Just wanted to post a couple from one of the latest sessions.  Can you say "the cutest kids ever"?  Al and Laura continue to open the door to us and I have to say I just love these kids.  Anyway, I hope you enjoy and stay tuned to the blog; we've got some great news to share and we are super excited.  Thanks and God bless,

Wes

Jonathan & Deanna: Engagement

By Wes Roberts

He proposed...She said yes!  What a blessing it was to be able to shoot Jonathan and Deanna's engagement pictures.  This couple is so sweet, funny, and incredible.  We shot pics around 6 p.m. in Troy, Al.  We had great lighting since it was slightly overcast!  We decided to start shooting at Troy Unversity on the "Quad", since this is where Jonathan proposed.  We then headed to downtown Troy where we got some incredible shots.  We wanted to try and get up a sneak peek of the pictures;   Jonathan is in the Coast Guard and leaves Wednesday to head back out to sea.  Jonathan and Deanna, we truly enjoyed shooting your engagement pictures!  We can't wait to shoot your Wedding!  We hope you enjoy these...there will be more to come!  Jonathan, be safe and we will see you soon!

God Bless,

Wes and Meagan Roberts

Wes Roberts Photography {Two Bright Lights Editor's Choice}

I remember when I first started photography.  I was a no nothing college student taking a couple of classes for fun, which was anything but!  I can remember having prints critiqued and rejected by my instructor, at times, a heart breaking hit that would warp the idea of what I thought was a good [...]

It's Friday!  And we have a great wedding to feature today!  From the time we met Amber and Philip we knew they were amazing.  For me (Wes), I really get to know our couples during the engagement session as nearly every topic of conversation comes up.  I love this, because it puts an at [...]
