I'm not much on words for blog post but I couldn't post this without saying something.  When we moved from Troy, AL there were things that we knew we were going to miss such as friends, families that we had known as well as our church.  I had the opportunity to teach the high school boys sunday school while we were there and came to know Luke as well as the amazing family that surrounds him.  After having 3 years pass, it was great to see Luke and the family again and have a chance to do his senior portraits.  

One of the things that I love about senior sessions is the uniqueness of each senior and who they have become over the years.  Team this up with a little bit of creativity and we get some great portraits that speak of their personalities.  Luke, thanks man for hanging through the heat during the session and I hope you enjoy them!

Iowa, Illinois, Auburn.  What do they have in common?  Tara and Kurt!  Having met in high school, after graduation Tara and Kurt went to each school respectively.  Even fierce football rivalry could not keep them apart yet they finally ended up together in Auburn.  That's where I met this wonderful couple.  I received an email from Tara inquiring about an engagement session because her and Kurt had just become engaged.  Jump to the day of the session and I finally this duo and fell in love with them!  After hanging with them I was secretly hoping they would contact me again for the wedding because I just enjoyed my time with them.  

A couple of months later I receive another email from Tara letting me know that they had picked a date and location and wanted to know if I could cover their wedding; my answer was Absolutely!  This led to this past weekend in Amelia Island where Tara and Kurt were married among their close family and friends.  What I experienced, their friendliness and genuineness, was what had also drawn so many of their close friends to this weekend.  What a blast we had, all the way from the bonfire at the resort to chants of Iowa and Illinois!  Thank you Tara and Kurt for just being amazing and congratualations!

You might remember Lauren from one of our earlier posts where we did one of our rocking sports sessions.  We now had the chance to get some stunning shots of her for the fashion side of her senior session!  We love having Lauren in front of the camera as well as in our life.  Thank you Lauren, I can't wait to see what your senior year holds for you!  And a big thanks to Lauryla our makeup artist as well who hung with us and kept us full of laughs!

We had released a couple of these on facebook but I wanted to put out a couple of more that I loved.  Sarah did an amazing job with these and just had fun which allowed us to get some stunning images that really have a wow factor to them!  Great job Sarah!!!!
